Semester I

This module aims to introduce students to the core concepts of chemistry applicable to environmental science. It explores chemical processes in five spheres of environment with main emphasis on atmosphere and hydrosphere. It also exposes students to various methods of air, water and soil quality analysis, and concept of water recycling and soil remediation.
